A customer asked the following question.
Once I've made someone a resource it doesn't appear I can demote them to executive? Help?
There is not a way to demote a user to an executive. Once a user has been created as a manager, resource or administrator the executive user level is no longer an option. Since executives cannot track time or be owners or assignees of tasks there are data dependencies with the other user levels.
If the user was just created (and hasn’t tracked any time or been involved with any tasks) we recommend deleting the user and recreating them as an executive level user.
If the user has logged data, we recommend setting the user to inactive and re-creating the person as an executive.
