A long-time customer asked the following question:
I currently use the Project Activity report “By Task” and it does a pretty good job but I would like to flatten out the tasks. I don’t need each individual time entry displayed. I just need the total hours and total $ on the task. Is there a way to do that?
This feedback was converted into a feature request and is part of the recently launched Roll-up Report. This report balances high-level summaries with granular details. It provides a mid-level view of the value of work performed across tasks, milestones, projects, clients, and more. This new report highlights the robust reporting capabilities that make Intervals a popular choice amongst data junkies.

This report can be used in conjunction with the Project Landscape Report to show supplemental data that supports the high level values shown in that report.
We invite you to explore the various “View by” options and filter parameters that work best for you.
Once you create the ideal report in Intervals, remember to save it for easy access and future use. You can also export all reports to a spreadsheet program if needed, making data handling even easier.
