Can I copy a previous timesheet as a starting point for the current week?

We received this feature request from a customer.

It would be really handy if there was a function where you could copy a timesheet from a previous week. I am travelling for work and my current week is almost identical to the same week a few months back. I'd prefer to use that week as a starting point instead of manually re-creating it.

This can be done by utilizing the manage timesheets section and the copy time entries functionality. Here are the steps:

1. Find Timesheet via Manage Timesheets

Navigate to Time >> Manage timesheets and run a filter to find the desired week. You can search by date and/or the status of the timesheet. Once you find the desired week click view to navigate into the timesheet.
Manage Timesheets

2. Use Bulk Edit to Copy Time Entries

Enabled “Bulk edit” mode then check the desired time entries and select copy.
Copy Timesheet

3. Select the Desired Week and Save

The functionality will default into the current week, but you can move forward or backwards if needed.
Pick Week

4. Save Time Entries into the Current Week

Save the time entries into the desired week to start with a pre-filled timesheet.

The screenshots above show the functionality from a Manager level user. Resource level users have identical functionality. Administrators have additional functionality where they can copy time entries from one person to another person.
